Op 5 oktober 2024 vindt de jaarlijkse Buiten de Binary dag plaats in
wijkcentrum ’t Hert in Nijmegen! Dit wordt georganiseerd door
Transgendergroep Nijmegen, Dito Nijmegen en COC regio Nijmegen. Deze dag staat in het teken van alles wat buiten de cisheteronormatieve binaire norm van gender en seksualiteit valt. Er workshops, lezingen, panels en nog meer over uiteenlopende onderwerpen.

Voor coming out-dag organiseren Dito, COC Regio Nijmegen en Wijkteams Volwassenen samen een potluck-diner. Neem wat te eten mee en deel samen een maaltijd.

Ter ere van het spooky season organiseert Dito samen met studentenvereniging Karpe Noktem een heus halloweenfeest. Trek je engste outfit aan en kom langs - de entree is gratis!

Fun
Dito organises many different activities where queer youths can meet each other. We have monthly drinks, lunches and board game nights, and every now and then, we organise a party.
Visibility
Dito promotes the visibility of queer people in Nijmegen. We do this by organising visibility actions in the city centre, at the university, the HAN and the ROC during coming out day and purple Friday.
Information
Furthermore, Dito provides information about queer topics. We have the introduction groups, where people can discuss queer themes in small groups, and there's the Pink Week. During this week, many different activities are organised on the university campus, including lectures and panel conversations about queer topics. We are also present at different information markets.
